The enigmatic Neal -- what is he thinking as he watches Peter? I think the interviews were very well crafted to make us wonder. We see the expression on Peter's face as they hug, but not Neal's. Is he hugging back? Matt doesn't reveal much in his interview. Peter gives us much to think about -- I prefer to think he misses Neal on a very deep personal level, but he's also thinking of rebuilding his reputation -- and how better to do that than to get Neal back to working with him again so they can solve some cases. Has Neal's taste of freedom given him a new perspective on his future, on his relationship with Peter, on what he really wants?
Too much to think about. Do you think my doctor would put me in a coma until July 10th? The wear and tear on my heart alone should be justification for such a drastic procedure.
